STERILIZING ROUTINE
One of the most important things to know about your salon...
Even though your nail technician has been doing your nails for years, do they do the correct sterilizing processes?
Are they up-to-date with changes and protocols?
Ask questions? Look around? Check the place out? Are they Public Health approved? Do they have certificates showing qualifications?
At Gloss Boss, your safety is our top priority. Every reusable stainless-steel instrument undergoes the following sterilization process between clients.

PRE-CLEAN
Immediately after use, all stainless-steel tools are rinsed under running water to remove visible debris -
WASH & SCRUB
Each tool is thoroughly cleaned using soap and water and scrubbed with a brush to remove any remaining residue. -
RINSE
Tools are rinsed with clean water to remove all soap and cleaning agents. -
DISINFECT
Instruments are fully immersed in PREempt C20 solution for 20 minutes, according to the manufacturer's guidelines. -
FINAL RINSE
After disinfection, tools are rinsed thoroughly with clean water. -
DRY
All instruments are completely dried using a clean, lint-free towel to prevent moisture contamination. -
SANITIZED STORAGE
Dried instruments are placed into a sanitized storage container until needed for service. -
SINGLE-USE ITEMS
Disposable nail files, buffers, and cotton products are used for a single client and then discarded.
